In a surprising collaboration that breaks conventional expectations, the game developer has revealed an virtual crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected Thanksgiving event runs from November 25 through December 22, providing no-cost additional story content for Shadows players.

Strange Adventure Uncovered

According to the official release, "An unusual encounter leads protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a new mission, where hints of banned rituals and monstrous metamorphoses resonate through the obscurity." The narrative features a "strangely garbed woman named Ada" who charges the duo with venturing into the Crystal Cave—a key location from Attack on Titan—to save her companion from a secret cult.

The adventure concentrates on "strange tests and a monstrous enemy" and is available to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.

Familiar Settings and Changes

The trailer features the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was earlier where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The preview concludes with a striking moment showing a character, probably the captive, transforming into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.

Players who finish the quest will receive an unique katana together with several artifacts secreted throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also contains premium Attack on Titan item packs, including:
